Policies


Cancellation:

We ask that you cancel your appointment as soon as possible and we receive a 24 hour notice so we can fill your spot with clients on our waiting list. If you do not cancel in advance, we reserve the right to charge 50% of your service price for missing your appointment without notice at our discretion.

An emergency cancel within the 24 hour time frame will be charged with the service charge going toward the price of your next scheduled appointment.

Please give your service provider a 48 hour notice if you would like to make adjustments to the service you intended to receive. Example: A Foil Service was reserved but you would like to only now receive a Haircut. This allows your service provider to fill that previously booked block of time with someone on their waiting list.

No Show:

If you choose to not cancel with a 24 hour notice, we reserve the right for you to be subject to our cancellation policy. If you no show on the day of your appointment we reserve the right to charge you 100% of your blocked service price. If you no show your scheduled appointment time we reserve the right to no longer take you as a client.

Card on File:

Effective January 1st 2023, we require a card on file to book appointments in the event that you no show, are tardy or late cancel. We accept Visa and MasterCard.

Putting a hold or stop payment on your card will be considered theft of services. MAVEN reserves the right to pursue payment.

Supervised Children:

We welcome children of all ages, but we do ask that they be supervised at all times for their own safety and for the experience of other clients during their scheduled appointment time. They must be able to sit alone in the styling chair without being held by a parent or adult while receiving their service.

The salon is not a safe space for unattended children. We ask that you please make arrangements prior to your appointment for your child/children that are not receiving a service. This is so you and other guests of the salon can fully enjoy the experience we offer.

We reserve the right to reschedule your appointment with a 50% service charge if childcare is not provided/secured within 15 minutes of the start of your appointment time. We love the kiddos and ask that you please leave them at home during your visit with us. We greatly appreciate it!

Additional Guests:

At this time we are asking all additional guests ( significant others, spouses and family) who are not getting serviced to please not accompany you to your appointment.

Late Arrival:

If you are more than 10-15 minutes late, we reserve the right to reschedule all or some of your services, so your tardiness does not affect other clients. If you are more than 10-15 minutes late we may need to reduce your service and if we do need to reschedule your appointment, you may be subject to a 50% service charge of your missed service price if we are not able to complete the service you had booked an appointment for.

Salon Release Form

We want you to be 100% satisfied with your overall experience. We know that your hair is important to you and we want you to be happy from the moment you step through the door until the moment you check out! As professionals, we strive to communicate how important it is to take the most realistic and healthy approach to achieving your beauty goals! If you’re not happy with your experience, we will make any necessary adjustments so you can leave our salon feeling amazing! After all, we are trying to build a long lasting relationship with you and be your trusted salon for life. Please review our updated policies and sign below to show you understand them. If you have any questions about the following please ask one of our team members and we will be happy to assist you!

  • We do not issue refunds. If you are unsatisfied with your hair we are happy to make adjustments for you, within 7 days of your initial service.
  • We will not perform any redo services if you or another stylist make any adjustments to your hair.
  • Your color and keratin services are only guaranteed if you invest in the recommended shampoo and conditioner from our salon directly. If you do not invest in the recommended shampoo and conditioner we will not perform any redo services complimentary.
  • Please note some complex color services may require multiple visits/services to achieve.
  • Your stylists will tell you directly if your goal cannot be achieved in one sitting.
  • No color service is guaranteed if you have box color present in your hair.
  • No color service is guaranteed if you have well water as your primary source of water. (A well water pre-color service may be required to achieve optimum results prior to your hair service at an additional cost but still does not guarantee the longevity of your color.)
  • Please note our 24 hour cancellation policy. Due to the high demand of our stylists, we require a credit card to hold each reservation and reserve the right to charge 100% of scheduled services for no-shows and 50% last minute cancellations.
